Parents, if this situation should arise, please write a note stating the time that you will be checking your child out. Have your child take this note to the office (before going to the locker or homeroom, if possible) where he/she will be given a checkout slip. You child needs to show this checkout slip to the teacher he/she will have at the time of actual checkout. If you plan for your child to return to school before the end of the school day, please go with your child to the office and check him/her back into school. There can be no checkouts after 2:45 in the afternoon.

We are looking forward to meeting each of you who will be on our team this year. There are many adjustments that are part of moving to a middle school environment, but we are here to help you. You will be pleasantly surprised by how quickly you (students and parents both) will fall into the routine.
